After a long dark winter spring has sprung and LoCo Random Draw Doubles returns to Franklin Park in Purcellville, VA. Doubles start up March 14th starting at 5PM in March and April and then moves to 6PM in May for the remainder of the season. See you out there.

Thank you to everyone who showed up for the 2nd Annual LoCo Ice Bowl at Franklin Park. 31 golfers braved temps in the mid 30’s and wind gusts that exceed 35 MPH. Congrats to Russell Jessop, Sam Shiley, and Gusty Golden for each winning their divisions in a playoff, and congratulations to Scot Ferris for cooking the winning pot of chili.

New Disc Golf Course in Loudoun County!

Plans are underway for an 18 hole wooded course at Hal and Bernie Hanson Regional Park. The club was instrumental in getting disc golf on the master plan. LoCo DGC attended all 3 public input sesssions and worked diligently to achieve the goal of a new course in Loudoun County.

The LoCo Lowdown
There are currently no scheduled singles meet ups by the club. However, we will be participating in another PDGA Sanctioned League this fall!! Stay tuned for more information.
Some casual doubles always go on at Franklin Park. This time of year the park closes at 7:30pm so usually we will be at the course at 4:45pm and tee off at 5:00pm sharp to make it around the course in time. Meet at Hole #10 Pavillion so your car will be outside of the park gates should we run long. $3.
